We’ve had several people asking for a datafile for the fuzzy, blue elf. So, here he is: Nightcrawler. Enjoy.

Awesome! Thanks!
Huh. I’m extremely surprised that he doesn’t have Enhanced Reflexes d8, or even Superhuman Reflexes d10, given that your write-ups of both Gambit and Hawkeye had the d8 version.
I was surprised by this too. I’d certainly rank Nightcrawler’s agility and reflexes higher than either Gambit or Hawkeye. Conversely, I’d say both of them have better combat skills than Nightcrawler, and I’d rate Kurt Wagner at Combat Expert.
I’m a bit worried about specialty inflation though. There are a lot of Combat Masters out there, which makes Captain America’s d10 seem a bit undersized.
You can find the revised datafile on the Hero Datafile page. Thanks for the critiques.
After thinking about this over the weekend, I think you are probably right about giving him Superhuman reflexes.
Also Combat Expert is probably too high in this case.
I’ll see about getting a edited datafile put up.
Combat *Master* is too high. Combat Expert would be appropriate.
Also, Nightcrawler is a medic. Medical Expert would be a fitting Spec.
I disagree. I don’t believe his skill level would be equivalent to a med school graduate, which is how Medical Expert is described. But, this is just my version of the character. You aren’t limited by anything I come up with.

What application are you using to do layout, I very much like how you’ve laid out the stress indicators. This format is better then the core book’s (sorry MWP). I may try to emulate what you’ve done using Scribus, an open source layout tool so that others might be able to mimic as well ; if you don’t mind me stealing the format 🙂
These are from a Photoshop template that Mark designed.
Do you have a plan to put a PDF of the format some where? Possibly form fillable?
